Pre-Season Training

Pre-season training for 2023 season is about to commence. 

Pre-season training is a great way to get back into footy and be fighting fit for when the season starts. While we appreciate that many kids have other sporting commitments before our season starts, we would strongly encourage you to try and get along to some pre-season training. This is a great opportunity to meet your new team and very helpful for coaches to assess each players strengths (noting that the latter only applies to older age groups where grading takes place and positions are set).

The following details pre-season training for each age group. As in previous years, our pre-season training takes place at Johnson Reserve due to other sporting codes commitments e.g. cricket at Shorten Reserve. Once the footy season kicks off we will issue a new training timetable that will remain fixed for season 2023.

- Runners / trainers only for pre-season training sessions (footy boots or studs not allowed)

- Mouth guards recommended, see our Uniform & Merchandise page for info on where to get mouth guards

Home & Away Season Training Schedule

The 2023 home & away season training schedule will be published in March 2023, noting that Round 1 kicks off on Sunday April 16th 2023. 

- Players can wear footy boots at home & away season training sessions 

- Mouth guards required
