Hi everyone!
This weekend saw all our players don black arm bands for our Club Legend – Geoff Mason who sadly passed away last week. For those who knew Geoff there is now a huge hole in our hearts – he was always the first to help out and always had a smile ready to go! Wearing an arm band is a small but significant gesture to honour someone who did so much for our Club, it also lets his family and friends know that while he is now gone, he won’t be forgotten. We know that wherever he is now – he would have loved the effort that he saw over the weekend across our all Senior and Junior Games. Go Roosters!

Results for Round 9:
Our Under 9 teams got out and about playing some awesome footy, both at Home and away this week at Newport.
Our Under 10’s played Yarraville Seddon in a well contested match!
Both our Under 12 teams took on Caroline Springs on our home turf. Unfortunately our Senior Squad lost 17 to 26 but played a great close game. Our Development Squad won convincingly 82 v 11 – well done team!!!
Williamstown were unfortunately too good for our under 14 Division 1 team, going down 16 v 66.
Our Under 14 Division 3 team played well!
Our Under 16s unfortunately were bested on the day by Point Cook at their home ground.
